After a hiatus, the Health Law Association is back!!! It is a student-led organization who seeks to: raise awareness of health-related legal issues; generate student interest in health care law; facilitate ongoing dialogue regarding health law and related health issues; to provide educational and professional resources for law students interested in health law; and to grow into a dynamic organization connecting students and professionals in the area of health law.
The organizations goal is to become a resource for law students interested in all aspects of health care. The plan is to revive the dynamic bank of career and internship opportunities that our organization has had in the past, as well as compiling a course guide for students who wish to pursue health law at the University of Baltimore. The group engages in dialogue with the university to promote the development of a health law curriculum. Throughout the semester, they host various lectures, career panels, and community events.
